I was able to get a taste of the Sunrise Festival at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center at Diliman, QC today… not at sunrise, but after sunset. The glowing lights from the bazaar booths led Troy and I through the trees and shadows of the solemn park entrance. After soaking in the sights and sounds of what each concessionaire had to offer, we made our way to the amphitheater just in time for the captivating performance of Kawangis ng Tribu, a cultural group from Palawan. It was short, but sweet. A friend from Cebu who was camping there for the whole 3 days of the event told me that the group did a longer drum session the day before.
